My work is part intuitive, guided by (a) feeling(s) and part rational, logic

My master project is all about patterns. Patterns with each their own reference to the world.

I made 44 patterns linked to art, architecture, nature, man,… Each with their own grid system, divided by numbers, which became in their turn, number drawings, whom we all know when we were a child growing up. With these patterns I let people, with different backgrounds (children, art students, housewives, grandparents,…) get started with my grids. They had the choice to do whatever they wanted to do with them. Color them in, or doodle on them, or like some, tear them down. As a result, these drawings were published in my publication called Grid Colors.
